Software that ships.
Cloud that holds the line.

OPSoft Inc is a senior team of engineers building custom software, cloud platforms, and the boring-but-critical infrastructure underneath. We design it, build it, and stay on the hook for how it runs.

We build the hard parts —
then stay around to run them.

Six disciplines, one team. We don't hand work off between strangers. The engineer in your Slack is the one writing your code.

01

Custom Software Development

Greenfield products, internal tools, and modernization of legacy systems. We start with your real workflow, not a wireframe.

  • Web & API platforms
  • Internal admin tooling
  • Legacy modernization
02

Cloud Architecture & Migration

AWS, GCP, and Azure architectures designed for the load you actually have — and the load you'll have next year.

  • Multi-region & HA design
  • Lift-and-reshape migrations
  • Cost & FinOps audits
03

DevOps & SRE

CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure as code, observability, and on-call practices that let small teams ship without breaking.

  • Terraform / Pulumi platforms
  • Kubernetes & container ops
  • Observability & SLOs
04

Data Engineering

From scrappy ETL to warehouse + BI. We build data plumbing that analysts and ML teams can actually trust.

  • Pipelines & orchestration
  • Warehouse modeling (dbt)
  • Real-time streaming
05

Integrations & APIs

Glue work done right. We turn the messy reality of third-party APIs into clean, documented, durable integrations.

  • REST & GraphQL APIs
  • Webhooks & event buses
  • SaaS connectors
06

MVP for Startups

From founder-in-Figma to paying users. Tight scope, real engineering, and a codebase your future team won't curse.

  • 4–10 week MVP sprints
  • Founder-friendly contracts
  • Hand-off you can hire into
003 / Why OPSoft

Senior engineers. No layers.
Boring software that doesn't fail.

→ 01

Senior-only team

Every engineer on your project has 8+ years in production. No bench rotation, no junior-on-the-job training disguised as a deliverable.

→ 02

Boring tech, on purpose

We pick the dullest viable stack. PostgreSQL over the latest graph database, Terraform over click-ops. Excitement belongs in product, not infra.

→ 03

You own everything

Code in your repo, infra in your cloud account, docs in your wiki — day one. We're a force multiplier, not a vendor lock-in.

→ 04

On the hook for production

Optional 24/7 on-call with documented SLAs. If we built it, we can run it — and we'll tell you honestly when you'd be better off in-house.

004 / Process

Five steps. No surprises.

Same playbook on every engagement. You'll always know what week you're in, what's blocking us, and what's shipping next Friday.

  1. /01

    Discover

Two-week paid discovery. We map your workflow, constraints, and the actual decision you're making — not the spec someone else wrote.

    Week 1–2
  2. /02

    Design

Architecture diagrams, data model, deployment topology. Approved on paper before a line of code earns a salary.

    Week 2–4
  3. /03

    Build

Weekly demos, shared Slack channel, end-of-week shipped diffs. You see what works and what doesn't, in real time.

    Week 4–N
  4. /04

    Ship

Production rollout with feature flags, runbooks, dashboards, and the on-call binder — the boring stuff that prevents 3 a.m. pages.

    Launch + 2 wks
  5. /05

    Scale

Optional retainer for ongoing work or staff augmentation. Or a clean hand-off to your team — your choice, written into the contract.

    Forever, or 0 days

007 / FAQ

The honest answers.

The questions clients ask before signing. We answer them the same way every time.

How quickly can you start?
Most engagements begin within 2–3 weeks of signing. Discovery work can usually start sooner — sometimes within days for repeat clients.
Do you work fixed-bid or time & materials?
Both. Discovery and MVPs are typically fixed-bid against a written scope. Long-term builds and SRE retainers are time & materials with a monthly cap.
Where is your team based?
We're headquartered in Sheridan, Wyoming, with a fully distributed senior team across U.S. and EU time zones. We overlap with clients in any zone for at least 4 working hours a day.
Will my code and infrastructure be portable?
Always. Code lives in your repo from commit one. Infra is provisioned in your cloud account with infrastructure-as-code that your team can read, modify, or take over completely.
Can you take over an existing project?
Yes — and it's something we genuinely enjoy. We start with a paid 1-week audit, deliver a written rescue plan, and then either execute it or hand it to your team.
Do you sign NDAs and DPAs?
Yes. We have a standard mutual NDA and DPA we can share in under 24 hours, and we're happy to use yours when required.
